Sarena Diamond, CEO & Founder

Sarena Diamond has spent decades proving that a company can transform without losing the people who make it work. She led change from the inside at IBM, Accenture, Pepsi-Cola, Hyperion, Mellon Investor Services, and Mercer. Today she partners with leaders of Fortune 100 enterprises, PE-backed ventures, and privately held companies on organizational change, facilitation, and communications. Clients call her when a transformation is too important to get wrong and too messy to run on a template.

“The most powerful three-letter word in the alphabet? AND.”

Where The Power of And™ came from

Sarena grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. As a little girl, she could load her parent's restaurant dishwasher as fast as any busboy, as long as there was a five-gallon bucket to stand on. Watching her parents work endless hours, she set her sights on something different: a "glamorous corporate career." She built one, complete with bigger titles, bigger teams, and a corner office.

Then came a pivotal choice. Take on the next corporate transformation, or go out on her own? She realized she was asking the wrong question. It didn't have to be "or." It could be "and."

That shift became The Power of And™: bold and kind, strategic and human, accountable and empathetic, all at once. As a strategic partner, not a coach, she works alongside the leadership team inside the real work. She builds capability in your people so the change is adopted and sustained long after the engagement ends. That's Kind Accountability™ in practice.

Experience & Leadership

Built through experience, education, and service

Sarena holds an Executive MBA (Valedictorian) from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University and a BS, Cum Laude, in Computer Science and Management from Russell Sage College. She also holds a Professional Certificate in Collaborative Storytelling for Social Impact from Georgetown University and is a Certified Executive through the IBM Leadership Academy.

She is one of a small number of Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) worldwide. She has spoken on national stages, local television, and dozens of podcasts. Today, as a Vistage speaker, she helps leaders embrace the challenge of change.

Her leadership extends well beyond corporate settings. In Somers, NY, she served twelve years as a Trustee and President of the Board of Education, and more than twenty years as a board officer of the Somers Education Foundation. For fifteen years, alongside her IBM responsibilities, she led a passion project called Girls Go TechKnow. She hosted more than 200 hands-on STEM programs for over 2,700 students. Her service earned the Points of Light Institute honor and the President's Volunteer Service Award for twelve consecutive years.
